'Dam, we're stuck! :)

After wanting to have a quick break for a while now, just to "get away" from it all, it finally landed on my lap when a friend offered me a cheap break away. Destination and travel details will remain anonymous, as will most of the details of the trip, but if you're really perceptive, you may see some hints as to where we went and what we got up to... I haven't uploaded any pictures to my Gallery (but those of you who have been there will know straight the way where it was) yet but they will be there soon hopefully. Just keep checking back. The reason I am writing this is because of the mission journey on the way back!

Okay so the trip was a very short break, one night, two days. Well, it was supposed to be one night and two days. After news of our return journey going tits-up came through we decided not to rush in to spending any money on arranging other travel and thought we'd wait it out till the following day to see if we could get home, albeit one day later. We spent the night sleeping it "rough" as there was no point going back only to sleep for a few hours and having to come back to depart. Waking up on Thursday morning, it was freezing, I needed a shower and although I didn't sleep to bad... it wasn't exactly refreshing. BUT... atleast in an hour or so I'll be home... hehehe, not quite. Travel arrangements didn't pan out once again, and this time, waiting wasn't an option. We had to be home that day... all of us for different reasons. Mine? I had an assignment due in on Friday. Anyway, between the hours of 9am and noon, we spent trying to get hold of every mode of transportation available to us, in the end settling for a train back! Now, I can hear you all saying, "That is not that bad... pussy!"... well, I can't argue with you because unfortunately I cannot write more anymore details on here. Lets just say, if you knew where we were, what had happened (in full over 3 days) and, did I mention if you knew where we were??? then you may change your mind.

Anyway, getting home wasn't that bad once we were on our way. Just exhausted... and I slept like a baby and managed to hand my assignment in on Friday all complete and on time! The grass is greener on the other side... lol, in this case, the grass was much greener where we left it!

Cryptic aren't I?
