Liverpool... champions of Europe!

Well, last night saw one of the best games of football ever on television. For those of you reading this that missed the match, get it, watch it on Sky Sports as a replay, get it off a Liverpool fan who probably recorded it, it doesn't matter, just watch it.

BBC News have a decent article on Liverpool coming home and what this means to the club,
click here. I'm not a Liverpool fan, I just like football, probably as much as I like music. Watching a match like yesterdays was... sorry, "IS", what it's all about though. Team work, pure determination, passion and the will, the need, and the drive to win. Milan thought they had it in the bag at half time 3-0 up, but they let Liverpool's captain Steven Gerrard score and he lifted his players and 35,000 Liverpool fans. Milan didn't know what hit them after that. Liverpool always had the upper hand in terms off confidence and commitment. I won't go on about it too much, yesterday's football match will be talked about for years to come, especially amongst Liverpool fans. I just wanted to say congratulations, and well done.

End of Uni... start of summer.

Well, it's finally over. My last exam was completed last Friday on the 2oth of May. Most of my exams went fairly ok. I was seriously dissapointed by one which went very badly. The only consilation was that everyone else in the class also found it very hard. Just have to wait till results come out. My demonstration for my final year project went well as well. But enough of that, its over, and until my results come out I don't want to think about it.

So, on Saturday, it was Eggy's 26th. We decided to go Alton Towers. It was a good laugh and the weather held out for us. We didn't stay the whole day as the FA Cup final was on and decided to come back to Leicester to watch it. We got back in time to watch the 2nd half. The weekend carried on in a very rushed, tired and exciting way. This included a night in the local Holiday Inn, which was awesome and 3 hours sleep! On Sunday, I was supposed to meet a number of friends from London that I hadn't seen in a while, but unfortunately I also had to go with my cousin to Birmingham. By the time we got back it was too late.

Right-o... leaving the best news till last as always! As you know, in my previous post I wrote about how my car got written off about a month ago. Well the insurance money came through and as I had a week and a half gap before my last exam, I went shopping for a car. After visiting a number of used car dealerships and looking on The Auto Trader website day in day out, I came across a nicely kept Audi A4. I took it for a test drive and my mind was made up. I picked it up after my last exam on the 20th and I don't regret it one bit. It's a 1996 Audi A4 1.8 Turbo Sport with 95K on the clock. It was in very good condtion and 95K for these cars is not alot, they can easily got till 150-200K depending on how well you look after it. I haven't been able to get any official 0-60/0-100 stats for it, but it's quick enough for me (for the time being, hehehe). So, you can find the pictures on the 3rd page of the gallery, or if you're lazy you can click here. I love driving it and if anyone is thinking about getting an Audi, I couldn't say a bad thing about them yet. I have however only owned the car for less than a week, so ask me again in a year and I might have changed my mind, I'm hoping this car doesn't give me a reason to though. It's gorgeous. Vroom vroom! ;)

I've started doing some light exercise as I have time on my hands now. I never used to be bothered about exercising as I used to play football quite a bit, but I don't anymore, and with living like a proper student, I've done nothing over the last one year, so my physique has slipped... with summer here this just won't do! I went on a nice long bike ride on Monday which really took it out of me, and today I decided to go swimming at the local leisure centre. The last time I went there was about 10 years ago. It wasn't too bad, and alot cleaner than I remember it being. But after about an hour a few more people started turning up and I decided to leave. I'll probably go back, never on a weekend though, too many idiots around.

Okay, so keep coming back, I've been keeping an eye out on who's visiting and I'm surprised at the number of people who visit this site who are not from England. I don't know who you are, but thank you. There will be alot more updates, not necessarily posts, but pictures, articles and crap like that.

See ya for now.
